With the ability to easily mount to any standard 2” class III and IV receiver hitch using a 5/8” hitch pin, this holder is designed to accept umbrellas with a 1-3/8” – 2” diameter shaft. Pre-installed reducer bushings are included to accommodate modifications, allowing for compatibility with most tailgates. Depending on the size of your umbrella shaft, the bushings can be removed or replaced accordingly.

For shafts smaller than 1-3/8” – 1-1/2” in diameter, it is recommended to leave the reducer bushings in place. If your shaft is larger than 1-1/2” in diameter, the bushings can be easily removed. The hitch extends 35 inches from the hitch pin, providing ample shade coverage for your outdoor activities.
